With so much going on in and around Grange over Sands in the next few months, it is a wise idea to start booking accommodation.
The area is getting busier and busier in general with many more businesses opening in Grange over sands the town itself especially food orientated ones. Head across the Cartmel and the foodie theme continues and again, Cartmel even on a no event weekend is packed full of visitors (look out for monthly food market held every 3rd Friday).

But look to the weekends of Cartmel races and the Holker Spring Market and this corner of Cumbria is THE place to be.

All this action beings in May with the brand new Holker Spring Market. This market will be held on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of May. There is set to be a variety of food, home, garden and gift exhibitors attending the market as well as lively entertainment and a fun circus workshop so a real event for everyone, young and old. Taste delicious seasonal produce, pick up fabulous spring flowers and plants, handmade gifts etc – you really will be spoilt for choice. An excellent value market to attend at just £2.50 per adult, accompanied children free of charge. The entrance fee also includes parking and entry to the Cafe, Food Hall and Gift Shop at Holker Hall.

Then the first racing fixture at Cartmel Racecourse of 2017 on Whit Bank Holiday Saturday followed by a second day of racing on Bank Holiday Monday 29th and then Wednesday 31st. Being a Bank Holiday and of course half term, the fixtures have a family theme running through them with fun activities and a picnic on the Wednesday fixture.

So back to accommodation and to get rooms during these highly prized dates and especially in the case of smaller venues such as the luxury 3 room Bay Villa bed & breakfast on Main Street Grange over Sands, book early to avoid disappointment has never been so crucial! Weekend rates at Bay Villa from £125 per room with spectacular breakfast included.
